Where Ravens Wait: The Blood Remembers
There are places where memory and myth walk together.
Where the seen and the unseen breathe the same air.
Where the past is not gone, only waiting to be remembered.
Where Ravens Wait: The Blood Remembers is the story of how it all began. It is the origin of the Guardian, the first steps on a path that would one day lead into The Guardian, The Angel, and The Goddess. It is drawn from my own life, told as I lived it, in the language of dream and symbol. Though some will call it fiction, every word is true to me.
It begins in the quiet hours of early memory, when the world still shimmered with something ancient and alive. The forests whispered. The ravens circled. The line between this world and the next grew thin. Through that veil came understanding, not from outside, but from a connection to something greater found within.
The wolves were not born, they were called.
Willed into being by need, by purpose, by the voice that speaks beneath all thought.
Dark Wolf took shape first, a manifestation of the will to endure, the quiet strength that stands unmoved against the storm.
White Wolf followed, a reflection of peace, of joy, of the light that survives even in sorrow.
Together they are my bridge to something greater, my higher self reaching through the veil to guide me.
This book follows the awakening of that connection. It tells of the trials that test the soul, the moments when truth hides itself in symbols, and how the one who would become the Guardian first learned to see. It is a story of cycles, of falling and rising, of remembering what was forgotten and finding meaning in the spaces between.
There are hints of an older bloodline in these pages, something ancient that stirs beneath the surface, echoing through time, guiding through instinct and dream. Its memory moves like a current beneath the story, unseen yet undeniable.
Where Ravens Wait: The Blood Remembers is a true story told in mythic language. It is the place where reality bends, where worlds touch, and where truth reveals itself to those who are willing to look between the lines.
Learn how it began.

About the Author
Jim Daley writes from the threshold between worlds, where lived experience becomes legend and pain becomes transformation. A former peace officer whose journey through darkness reshaped his understanding of self and spirit, he now gives voice to the unseen forces that guide human endurance.
His work is rooted in Norse symbolism and the philosophy of self-realization, where strength and compassion are not opposites but reflections of the same light. His stories are not simply told, they are lived. In them, the wolves are real, the ravens are listening, and the veil between the worlds grows thin for those who remember.
